Arabic Typography & Motion

Two alphabets, one composition

A Ramadan greeting where the Arabic is the artwork and the motion is the stroke order — two scripts given distinct voices, then tied together by scale, colour and composition.

Five seconds, looping. Silent by design — there is no audio track.

Highlights

Set the Arabic رمضان as the central artwork rather than a translation of the headline — elongated strokes, sweeping curves and a stacked composition give it a sculptural, vertical presence.

Paired it with bold condensed Latin lettering: compact and rhythmic against the fluid Arabic, so each script keeps its own voice and the two are joined by scale, colour and placement instead of being matched to each other.

Lifted one word — peace — into light blue as the single point of emphasis, with the smaller “Ramadan Mubarak” sitting under the headline as a quiet close.

Result

The reveal follows the calligraphy rather than animating a finished layout — the letterforms assemble in their own stroke order, and the composition then holds long enough to be read rather than watched.
